Designed to assess decoding skills in 5 stages, moving from sounds (rirrakay) and syllables (djilabul) to words (yäku mala) of increasing length. It will help to assess students' letter/sound knowledge, blending and syllable chunking skills.
It should be used in conjunction with other assessments, such as Running Records and Buku-Manapan related reading assessment, to assess other areas such as comprehension and fluency.
